Mr. Samuel Nyamekye of Miracle films has declared that Nana Ama McBrown is the most graced and powerful actor ever in the Ghanaian movie industry. The renowned movie producer who have produced many Award winning movies like Asoreba, wo Nyame So Mpo Ni, Kumasi Yonko) and a host of others said this in a interview with DJ Tofiakwa of Sompa Fm, a radio station in Kumasi. He further stated that, after the demise of Santo who was the face of Ghana Movie in the early 2000’s, it was Nana Ama McBrown who sustained the industry until Agya Koo came in to further uplift the industry.
Also he emphasise that it was the versatile actotherress who helped many of the well established actors to relevant in the industry, citing Agya Koo, Mr beautiful, Sly, Apostle John Prah, Lil Wyn and others. He emphasize that even though some Male celebrities are more popular than the Empress, but in terms of acting and she is the greatest and powerful actress of all time. However he said that beside Nana Ama McBrown, Mercy Asuedu is the next best actress on the country.
